I developed Someone I Know: Grief Typography as a way to cope with the profound loss of my mother. This unique app and publication aims to help others dealing with grief by allowing them to connect with their loved ones in a very personal way: through their handwriting. Grief is a deeply individual experience, and that's why Grief Typography is designed to be personalized for each user.
Using the app, users can create and save a font based on their loved one's handwriting. The font can be downloaded and shared with friends and family, creating a lasting and meaningful tribute to the person they lost. With Someone I Know: Grief Typography, users can hold onto a piece of their loved one and keep their memory alive in a truly special way.
The app is designed to be fun and friendly. Inviting you to connect with your loved one in a different way than you may have been able to in the past. The app is here to celebrate your friends and family who have passed away and the joy they brought to your life.
The app takes you through a series of prompts to easily add your loved ones information to the system and create their customized font.
This makes it easy for you to download the font to use later and share it with friends and family.
