This D&AD brief was set by Barclays, a British multinational universal bank, headquartered in London, England. They wanted to use technology and innovation to develop a new digital experience, service or tool (such as apps or in-app functions) that can help Barclays meet the banking needs of neurodivergent individuals.

Barclays On The Go addresses the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals, a customizable app can provide a personalized experience for each user. The app would allow users to customize various aspects of the app’s interface, and features based on their individual needs 

and preferences. This customization will include options for changing the font, and layout of the app. The app will also include a virtual assistant that can be used when feeling overwhelmed or anxious. This virtual assistant can complete any banking task for the user.

This is the beginning of the customization experience that will alter the app to the specifications of the user. 

Barclays On The Go is a new version of the Barclays app and this video shows how it works and the intention to reduce the anxiety and stress that comes with online banking. 

The app gives the user a seamless experience that makes them feel like they are valued at Barclays.
