The nearest meal is a pop-up experience that aims to start a conversation about eating locally and reconnecting with where our food comes from. And where better to have that conversation than over lunch at the park?
Around 30% of greenhouse gas comes from food production. This can be attributed to factory farming, food processing, transportation, retail, and packaging.
We serve both foraged, and local ingredients, and use empowering stories around food as a gateway into sustainable values that center around a connection with the earth.

Th pop up event will take place in your local park. In this case, it will be in Hampstead Heath in London, UK. The event will be a dining experience that the whole family can enjoy. The setting of the event will be at a rustic wooden table in the middle of the park. That way the guests can understand the importance of eating local food and explore the benefits of urban foraging.

The guests will be given A Guide To Found Food that will help them navigate the urban foraging process. This way they can understand the tools that they need and the varieties of food they can find at their local park.
A Guide to Found Food is a great introduction o urban foraging and it is a resource that they can use with friends and family.
